ARMALAC has placed its refinery in a clean
controlled environment. Raw materials are stored
internally and separately from end product. Our
processing method includes the use of a modified
clean room through which end product is produced.
End Product is shipped in sealed containers in
quantity-configurations suitable to our client’s
needs.
We are confident that our newly developed ARMALAC
Continuous Processing Method ("ACPM") for food grade
shellac coatings and glazes addresses the inherent
risks for high levels of bioburden contamination.
Our new method supersedes the current industry
standard method of processing which generally
is modeled on techniques for producing coatings for
commercial paint applications.
Our product carries lower levels of bioburden
(microbiological level) from reduced environmental
and human contact throughout the refining process.
The result is that our product meets and/or exceeds
the standards mandated for the food and
pharmaceuticals industries. As a net benefit, this
process improves thermal setting properties, reduces
harmful salt by-products and thereby lowers unwanted
yellowing.
Since
confectionary, food and pharmaceutical
companies depend on our products, we meet food
safety and pharmaceutical standards.
